In Topic: Sony Exec Comments On PS4 Backwards Compatibility

PS: Just brought out PS3 to backwards playing PS1 Castlevania: Symphony of the Night over the Queen's BD Weekend

Prop's on Castlevania, great game.

Couldn't give a toss.  I have no interest in playing PS3 games on my PS4.
If anything, most of the old games that I would want to play get remastered.

Theres too much to play already on PS4.

Totally agree with how much there is to play, I don't have time for my current game collection. Furthermore, I play GTA V and Skyrim pretty much exclusively on my PS4, both remasters. So I feel that I can live without backwards compatibility.

Just only sometime you might fancy the oldies...like me  :D  :D  :D

Lately spend more time playing old games thank PS4, you can call me old
Have no idea why spent money for PS4 Pro and did not play any of the games......gotta lay hands on Nier, instead of Gems of War  :P

cheers Palmania, i've gotten used to the armor types now, its the black smith that got me confused, however i think it gradually unfolds as i progress further down the story, i wasnt sure when i should be crafting armors and weapons, as you get they drop from revenants and enemies, i've only just unlocked the teahouse.  the game has some parts it can work on, but the gameplay is fun an addictive. Huge fan of Kurosawa back in the day

Very addictive indeed, also the heck of frustration

Your drawling work is beyond frontier, I love The Astral Maiden very much.

feel like im digging a grave being late to the party here, i'm trying this out and I'm abit lost for words.  long time souls vet, yet i feel completely overwhelmed at the mechanics of this game? does it take a while to adjust? how the heck does armor work in this game?

Armor has 3 level on weight - Light, medium and heavy - seeing underneath it's name as weight logo.

Your body can hold the certain weight.
The lighter the better to swing the weapon, but the lighter then loose more blood when you were hit too.
If you wear the armor too heavy it will cost you the movements and less of weapon swing.

It took me a certain time to adjust myself in this game, including throwing the dualshock away many times

This link below is quite helpful for the basic in Nioh, have a peak.

Once you break in, you will find it is the best action game you would ever play  ;)

Here some Nioh joke for you
