I'm sure once there is official word we will hear about it. But nagging and rushing them won't help. They know our love for this place and are doing what they can. Time is all they can ask from us and will give word when they can.
Completed the story in Marvel vs Capcom Infinite. f*** Sigma in arcade mode. I thought Galactus could be cheap in MvC3 but this is a f***ing joke. Spawning 2 new enemies every 30 seconds to heal yourself more or less back up to full... -.-
The Open House -7/10- I loved where and what happened though it wont be for everyone and it can be a hard watch as it is super serious.
Assassins Creed -6.5/10- I mean come on who thought it would be a good idea to keep all those assassins in one location, like really. I think I would have preferred it to go more minimal on the present day stuff and just had a blast with past. Wasn't a fan of the way it was kept and kept jumping back and fourth between the areas during the scenes.
Nerve -7/10- Actually enjoyed this a lot more than I was expecting to.
Kickboxer Retaliation -4.5/10- While I really liked the remake this sequel managed to be so agh. It has so many things that are cool Mike Tyson as a wise prison sage who fights a blind Van Damme, Christopher Lambert, Christopher Lambert wielding mother f***ing swords, busty kung fu bikini babes with glow in the dark tattoos and more of the the dancing from the original. But then you have stuff like the Mountain from Game of Thrones as the dude the protagonist needs to fight ok thats fine but then all of a sudden hes genetically mutated to be a better fighter. The fact that the movie goes for just under 2 hours which is way too f***ing long. The first 45 minutes is basically the protagonist going "I will not fight your guy." then they do the typical b movie motivation and kidnap a loved one so he goes "OK I will fight your guy." So you get an extra long training montage only for him to go "I will not fight your guy" which leads to another 30 minutes spent on a sub plot of him trying to rescue said loved one only to f*** it all up and be right back at the start of "I will fight your guy." So the last 45 minutes ended up being completely useless and just pad out a run time that didn't need to be padded out. Then there are the fight scenes, my god... They fall into one of 2 categories; close combat one shot takes like Daredevil's hallway and staircase scene and ones that cut to 5 seconds in the future showing what the fight will be doing and then cutting back to the fighting showing what you just scene. The one shot takes could have been good but they are just so slow like really slow and the protagonist is made out to be such a bad ass that everyone dies after a single kick, he walks, kicks, deads the canon fodder, walks, kicks, deads the next dood... If you make a movie about kickboxing in Thailand and it is boring you done f***ed up.
I really enjoyed it. Sure it's a lil more than just base DLC but it didn't feel like an add on for add on sake or extra money. Was very true to the world. I wish they would drop the prequel movie and just give Netflix a series in this same tone.
Thor: Ragnarok -9/10- Just as entertaining the second time.
Batman: Gotham by Gaslight -7/10- Really enjoyable and I enjoyed the twist of who Jack the Ripper was. Sadly though due to a rush job the animation suffers at times with some dull scenes (but there are also some beautiful Batman v Ripper fights), lifeless characters, continuity errors like Batman losing his cape, gaining it then losing it again within seconds of each other and some secondary characters they they clearly messed up and look the same as each other at times when they never had before. Sucks we never got the game and that the next one DCAU is Suicide Squad.
Godzilla: Monster Planet -6.5/10- Should have been called Godzilla stands around and doesn't do much. Some of the action scenes were ok but we didn't need 40 odd minutes of old dudes in space discussing how it was a bad idea to go back to earth blah blah blah. Godzilla also looks like crap and is just too dark adding some bright/light greens wouldn't have killed it instead of the dark green almost black looking one we got. But since it is the first of a trilogy which was originally supposed to be an anime series a lot of the set up is done so when we get MechaGodzilla vs Godzilla in part 2 much of the set up is done. Also sets up whatever they do in part 3 which one character hints at Ghidora.
Scooby-Doo & Batman: Brave and the Bold -6.5/10- It was ok, it basically plays out as a feature length episode of Brave and the Bold just with Scooby as Batman's sidekick. The story was ok though you can work out who the man in the mask is pretty quickly. The humor though is its strong suit and worth watching if you liked the humor from the show, in particular Aquaman.
Killing Gunther -7.5/10- I really enjoyed this and was way better than I expected it to be. Laughed a hell of a lot and the Asian hitman brought tears to my eyes.
When my parents split my Dad didn't give a sh*t and lied and had everyone lie for him so he didn't have to pay child support or anything. So my Mum took two jobs did everything she could to raise me proper etc. She just did her best and that is all one can do.
