You should be able to get an emulator quite easy online, I think there's a few for android phones as well, in the App Store

My gameboy advance sp was the start of my gaming, parents gave it to me with a rally game, i so badly want to play that game again, i miss the co-driver telling me to 'get back on the road' over and over, I would pay a lot of money to get my hands on that game again.
Then i discovered pokemon and played that a lot with mates from school, still remember my closest friend claiming she finished it in 20 minutes, oh how i laughed at her that day

man thinking about it now i really want to get a gameboy again and play all those old games. Off to trademe i go

Not the same as holding the gameboy in your hand though. And I like my law unbroken.
Also I did get tg rally, but I cant get it to say "get on the road" like I remember, perhaps I have gotten too good at gaming now...

I still have my GBA SP, haven't bought any games for many years now but I still enjoy the odd jam on FF Tactics Advance or Sonic Advance.  It's the only handheld I ever had, used it a lot during work breaks.

I got an original Gameboy in 1991. My dad asked the shop attendant what games would he recommend for a young girl (I was about 7 or 8) and the guy looked stunned as if he didn't know how to answer that question. In the end the Gameboy came with a free copy of Dynablaster and we also bought Tetris and Snoopy's Magic Show. Too much Tetris was the death of the Gameboy in the end when the down button died, but I have pretty much always had a Nintendo handheld of some sort like a token loyalty item. Currently that is a DS Lite with Chrono Trigger, Pokemon Diamond, and Starfox Command but I do miss the old Gameboy and still have some old cartridges lying around.

My mum won an original GB when they were first released (I would have been about 13)

One of my most memorable gaming moments was the day my best mate got a GB as well, that came with a link cable, and we were able to play 2 player tetris against each other. What a time to be alive haha!

Man I remember those days fondly. Spent a fortune on batteries playing Pokemon and Zelda before getting that massive battery pack. Did you guys get the screen magnifying lens/light?

The Gameboy was what started my love of gaming.

When I was a child; I'd play it constantly and spend all of my pocket money on batteries so that I could keep playing Pokemon Blue. I was definitely one of those kids who were told to go and "play outside" but took the Gameboy with them and sat on the swings :P

I no longer have any of the Gameboys that I once owned; but I do have the GB adapter on my Gamecube, so whilst no longer portable; I can still enjoy some of my old favourites.

Had a few and still have them. My first was a GB pocket that I got with Pokemon blue which started my craze off. Then a GB colour, advance, advance SP and lastly a DS. Haven't bought anything after that. Great to take anywhere and kill a few hours while waiting.
