Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales -6.5/10- It was really average not overly fun or funny and my least favourite of the franchise.

Circus Kane -6.5/10- An 80's circus clown/ring leader comes back after 20 odd years and invites the who's who of the horror community to try and escape his saw styled escape room. I didn't notice a single shot of CG so if you want a decent enough horror comedy with really good practical effects this is a good way to kill 90 mins. It's not brilliant by any means and the director has a really bad case of "I want to be Rob Zombie" that is all over his editing so if you despise quick cuts this one isn't for you. But if you need a killer clown fix with the release of It you could do worse than Circus Kane.

IT - 7.5/10      Was good, but I found it dragged a bit through the middle.

Hitman's Bodyguard  - 5ish/10 some pretty funny moments spread pretty thin for a 2 hour movie. Found the weird war crime plot out of place.

Edge of Seventeen - 7.5 / 10 decent coming of age movie, very funny in places and great support by Woody Harrelson.

Alien: Covenant 6/10
A bit disappointed, Ridley Scott should have done better.

Split 7/10
Fun, but does not make sense on some part.
Look forward to the third one coming - Glass.

Baby Driver 6.5/10 - not as what everyone is raving it to be. Good soundtrack and the driving on there reminds me of Initial D

Seen it yesterday. My wife hated it and I loved it. If it was Tim Curry's clown it would of been 10/10. But sadly I have to give it 9.3456/10

It Comes At Night - so-low-key-it's-comatose indie plaguepocalyse drama. Starts well with some good dread, then goes nowhere. 5/10

John Wick, Chapter 2 - while I didn't wank over the first like everyone else, it was a fun actioner. This sequel is too long and less compelling. 6/10

It - while not as scary as reviews are saying, there are plenty of freaky bits to enjoy. Only problems are some clunky dialogue, weird pacing (it actually would have benefitted from being longer) and too many great moments from the book changed for no real reason, or just to make more screentime for Pennywise. That said, it's miles better than the feeble miniseries version. 7/10

mother! -6.5/10- It's a bit of an Aronofsky wankfest.I don't get why people are b*tching about it being hard to understand and not making sense a I thought it was rather straight forward... But ya know some people just cant handle that baby scene.

The Big Sick - charming indie style rom-dramedy has cute modern relationship undone by cultural differences and twists of fate. 8/10

Watched Annabelle creation 8/10 not bad

8 out of 10 is just 'not bad'? 10/10 is 'pretty good'? :P Reminds me of this guy I watch on YouTube where he says not bad to things that are pretty much perfect.

The Sixth Sense - 7.5/10 I wonder what Bruce was doing between that opening scene and the very next scene where he first sees Haley Joel Osment for him not to know what he is.
