Its actually interesting to read posts from you all those years ago... I know I've gotten bored at like, 2 in the morning and gone to the oldest pages to check it out. Quite entertaining.

I think of matured a lot. Kinda cool to have an online copy of your mental development.

I pretty much listen to every genre from every time period, I guess I'm just a music fiend.

As for rap, I'm only really into the nineties stuff. Thats where it had the most passion and creativity in terms of beats and stuff.

Favourite artists/albums would have to be:

- Notorious B.I.G. - Ready to Die (Best Hip Hop album of all time - Hands down)
- A Tribe Called Quest - The Low End Theory
- InI - Center of Attention
- Nas - Illmatic

Im just getting into a bit of Adam Tensta . Like almost all Hip Hop and Rap, anything with a good beat really but yeah im the same with more of the underground and unknown artists. Can't stand the likes of 50cent! Also DJ Quick has got a good new album out with Krupt. Mos Def's new album is pretty good, something a bit different. Also Kano, Dizzie Rascal and Waily are all good!

Best video clip ever for me Pharcyde - Drop (even has the beastie boys wandering around in the video clip, see if YOU can spot them)

hey guys i was thinking of coining my own genre name, because a sub-section of hip hop but much of the vocal and melodic delivery is done in a speech impediment style - lisps, stutters, nervous ticks, i reckon it'll be the next big thing

i want to call it "Wap"

anyone want to join my crew?

So played Afro Samurai the other day and The R.Z.A has some awesome music in it. Does he always do this kind of fusion? Or is it just for this game he has done this style of music? Anyone else recommend so decoent hip hop along the lines of his music from this game? Cause i could totally dig some more of that....

I..I..I'm K K Keen..

Yeah Rza is a crazy producer, not many producers have that sound he creates. I would recommend any tracks that Madlib, DJ Premier or 9th Wonder produce.

Hip Hop is Whack, Metal is where it's at!
In gaming terms, Brutal Leg has some of the best beats i've ever heard in a game, not a Yo Dogg anywhere to be heard, it's great, Motley Crue, Ozzy, Slayer the list goes on, Anyone can Hip Hop, takes a true genuis to bring Metal to life :angry2:

*Guitar solos all the rap out of the room*

No. There's a heap of good rap outfits a whole lot better than the bands you mentioned. Who, with the exception of slayer; happen to be 3 of the lesser bands on Brutal Legend's soundtrack.

No. I'm assuming the only hip hop you listen to is the mainstream stuff. In which case, STFU GTFO and have a nice day
