So this was mainly inevitable. FM6 was 588 cars after all DLC, although that included calling 3 Nascar vehicles 24 due to different paint jobs. Over 700 cars at launch is thus around 150 more. Hopefully they bring back more brands rather than just adding more obscure Ferraris and Porsches. Previous Forza games have had Saab, Joss, Rossion, RUF, Austin-Healey, Bertone, and plenty more that we haven't seen in a good while! Presumably VW will be back after they were on a break for Horizon 3.
This has some good news for some of you I know, they're bringing back Maple Valley at least from earlier games . Also of course the Dubai one they showed off in a big way, but it is not clear if that is a circuit or maybe a return to point to point racing. The claim of "over 30 locations" is a bit disappointing, given that FM6 has 28 after the DLCs. Hopefully they don't skimp as the new tracks are clearly the big pull for a lot of people, rather than the 150 new cars.
There was also a mention that puddles will change over time rather than being identical lap after lap, and that's some nice realism. I find it interesting that they are not tying this to the release of Scorpio ... yeah still a much better name ... and seemingly not doing a special edition console. Sad. Especially with the whole 4k thing and hopefully some extra special stuff for those of us with that technology. I also look forward to less time in loading screens lol.
