I'll be first in line for this if it's true. It's a shame that, if true, Nintendo probably haven't learnt their lesson from the NES Classic Mini

Better games than a NES, tempting now.

Still will prob just buy a rasberry pi, and learn whilst making my own.

Yeah raspberry pi would be a good option but the nes classic apparently did something witch made it nicer than just emulation if I am to believe what was said.  Still a sh*t load of money for these things.  Be more tempted with snes classic mini.  See what games it has

Nope thats definitely NES

I had one as a kid.  Super Mario Bros. 3 for life!  Jumped to Sega for the MegaDrive II so never had a SNES.  Went back to Nintendo for the Wii many many years later.

I preordered and paid for it at EB. Fingers crossed there is enough stock!

Just did that today as well. This was the first console I ever had as a child so I can't wait. So much nostalgia.

I find it hard to look at N64 type graphics these days. Those jagged polygons tear my eyes apart!  SNES and Megadrive II 16bit graphics are fine though.  All about the 2D vs 3D

Even looking at Super Mario Galaxy now kills me.  Would LOVE an HD remake of 1 and 2.

With a more complex controller and potentially more complex hardware I suspect a N64 will have next to no games or a significantly higher cost.

Preordered my SNES mini a couple of months ago as I never even played a SNES. I really hope they didn't over sell or something dumb.
