It was a reward from when someone completed the trials of the nine (Sodster) not a level up of the clan not sure why it drops at level 10 though I assume the rewards for ranking the clan up will be full power level.

Hmmmm it's not a big deal, but I also thought it would scale to my power level. Oh well easy enough to infuse.
Cheers.

This! Thanks Sodster by the way! It dropped the Scout Rifle for me and oh baby it's good. In fact I rate it better than MIDA for shooting people (only has vertical recoil) the only downside is no active radar. I ranked up with the emissary tokens late last night and picked up the Auto Rifle - it is a headshot monster with range in the crucible. Feels slightly dirty using it but meh.

Has anyone else noticed the colours splitting on their HUD, particularly around the corner of the screen?
This is seriously pissing me off. My Super bar looks like it's been printed in newsprint, and because it's splitting the red and blue, it makes text look green.

Ok, so I've been obsessing over this, it's seriously pissing me off every time I look at the minimap or the feed.
Setting the accessibility menu to invert colours makes this clear as day. It seems to be caused by a vignette around the edge of the screen which is barely visible normally but is really obvious once the colours are inverted.

(I had to take a picture of my TV to catch this, because taking a screenshot while colours are inverted just captures the normal colours. [though now that I think about it, I could have just inverted them after the screenshot...])

Getting far too close and personal with the radar, you can see the colour separation on the arrow indicating 'you' on it.

And you can see that it's not the TV, since no other elements on the screen are affected. (like the line, directly behind the radar)

Also, not all HUD elements are affected, the radar, feed, abilities/supers, and players' names and levels are all affected. However, vendor/NPC names and icons are not.

Since the HUD is only affected at the edges and corners of the screen, my only assumption is that, somehow, the vignette is responsible for the distortion.

That's true RGB right there bro, think of it as a feature not a fault :P

Maybe a random thought, have you tried different HDMI cables, especially ones officially rated for HDMI 2.0. Would explain why screen images look ok but not on live tv.

I noticed this for the first time on my TV last night - not enough to bug me but did notice it. Its on a Samsung 60" 4K, so may be something to do with the 4K and how it deals with upscaling the image?

After digging deaper, it is a deliberate after effect :(
It's called Chromatic Aberration, and the PC beta had an option to turn it off. I'm jealous :P

Game got old pretty quick, ey.

The grind I find unenjoyable.

Still haven't finished the raid, done most of it. But my raid crew is inconsistent atm, work n that.

I never did any of the raids in the first Destiny.

How does this one stack up?

Some of the puzzles are proper a-holes.. Namely the dogs and gauntlet puzzles.

I actually enjoyed the bathhouse.

Honestly this is my least favorite raid for theme and encounters. Happy to admit that I'm a minority on this though. Finished it once, not rushing back to do it again. I like the way that Bungie approached this different but overall, it just ain't for me.

For me the D1 raids were brilliant. All 4 of em. Each of them had its own special moments.

If anyone is going for the prestige nightfall this week is the week to do it, get your invisible grenades out hunters and just stroll through most of the strike popping them like there is no tomorrow. You will only encounter a few phases where you have to clear ads to pass the rest i.e plates and hacks invisible grenades are your best asset.
Good luck guardians!

word. What a fantastic strike, paired with an awesome OP modifier that makes for awesome runs, even for others that are not up to prestige level yet.

I'd love to be able to attempt a run this weekend if I can find the time, sadly I'm working all weekend so don't have the whole weekend free.

It feels like D2 threads haven been quiter then when D1 released. Reddit threads are complaining at an apparent lack of end game grind. From the D1 veterans out there playing D2, should I still get it in two weeks? To you, was it worth the $100?

Its good, better than D1 in alot of ways. But the end game is lacking I guess, I'm at the point I dont need or want to play nightly anymore. Im basically at cap  (304 of 305) with the 2 characters I have. Raid is mediocre imo, great environment and level design though, Just most of the main encounters being mechanical is a bit weird. Its like running the Totems as one of the main events instead of a boss.

Still enjoying it though. Patrol areas are cool , but everything is becoming repetitive now.

Hopefully they'll do something with Season 2 , and have rerolled weapons or something, give you a reason to grind and collect loot.

Yeah hopeing for a comeback to random rolled weapons and shottie/snipers moving back to special slot in a update or Season 2. Alot of hate about the token system not feeling rewarding too but havent tryed that yet.

Yeah its back to RNG with the tokens. In the faction rally its really weapon heavy in the drops. Probably took me the full 30 engrams on my titan to get the whole New Monarchy armour set, and with the Warlock failed to get the chest piece to complete the set. But I must have got 6+ of every weapon.

Not sure about Iron Banana yet, havent played enough to get an engram. Having a break for a few nights and will play again friday onwards, just want the Titan helmet and shoulders/arms.
