I played a lot on this micro computer (as they used to be called!) in the UK in the 80s. I've recently just rediscovered it via emulation - Spectacol on Android. It had dozens of brilliant games -Sabre Wulf, Knight Lore, Jet Set Willy... I just wondered if anyone else had (re) discovered the Speccy (as it was affectionately known) and what they thought of the games etc. now.

I've made 'Let's Plays' on some of the games, if anyone's interested to take a look:)

Yah man, good times. The games are hilariously bad but so good.
I replayed some Horace Goes Skiing a while back. It hasn't aged well.

I know right! I was just trying to cross the road to get to the skifield and I was losing all three lives there! As a kid I thought I was a useless at games becasue I would die there a lot, but now I'm even worse than when I was eight years old or whatever I was. FML

Oh who played this game, Earth Shaker?

It was weird, it was written by one guy and showed up on one of the tapes which came on a monthly magazine but it was awesome. I mean it was a boulder dash ripoff but really quality and really difficult.

I remember somebody having one, I just can't remember who. I knew a few people with systems back then, but they were all generally different. Atari, Amstrad, Commodore.

We were a Commodore family. Started with a Vic 20, which my brother wrote games for. Then I moved to a C-64 at the start of my teens, before finally getting an Amiga 1200 in my later teens.
