I've seen so much heated conversation around the first PC, sounds like it went through some rough patches and I'm still not sure if the community is happy with it.

I have it on PS4 and enjoyed what I've played, though I started a career and seem to be eternally locked into frikken go-karts and only get to drive 'real' cars every few races. I will say it performs beautifully with the G29 steering wheel, but rally is more my jam.

Will be interesting to see how it fares against Gran Turismo this year.

Outlaw are you putting together all the pictures for these game threads because it is totally awesome.

Also project cars 2 looks totally awesome and I am very excited. I still haven't got the first one because I knew they were working on this. PC2 vs GT sport will indeed be an interesting battle. I have a feeling I will get and play both to start off with and then I'll end up sticking with whichever more friends are playing while also trying to spend time in wrc6, not to mention dirt 4 is coming this year... oh man I don't have time for so many awesome racing games

So keen for this, I'm kind of hoping for more of a proper career progression mode. I did like that all cars were unlocked from the start for free racing etc. in the first but I was almost overwhelming in some way. Dear god I've had some fun racing round Brands Hatch and Watkins Glen in the Group 5 BMW and Ford Capri, plus the Audi 90 IMSA GTO though hnnngggghhh

Your thread looks way better than mine :(
Bye bye my thread.

Anyway. Just read that this IS set to feature Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini. The three manufactures that I took a stab in the dark earlier on today. Wicked.

This seriously sounds like it's set to be amazing.

On a side note- Project CARS (OG) Yoobee game night coming 1/3/17 for PS4http://forums.nzgame...ay-1-march-8pm/
And 8/3/17 for Xbone http://forums.nzgame...ay-8-march-8pm/

What's up with the graphics on the trailer? They look sh*t for a critical announce release like this. The video's in 60fps but it's like the render isn't and the graphics look like they're at low settings..?

(edit: haha I had MGS5 running so I closed that and actually the video framerate did imprve a bit. My computer sucks :D

But nevertheless it wasn't amazing for graphics, so I hope they're just focusing on the physics and realism again. :)

It's so nice to see the weather changing with time lapse, that's one thing I'm really looking forward to.

Nicholas Hamilton talking some noob gaming reporter through a couple of laps of Fuji Circuit.

It doesn't look too bad actually, but whatever assists the guy's running make the game look pretty arcady.

Oooohhh this one has a better player and it makes the gameplay look better.

"The most tracks in any racing game on console," they say?!

I hadn't seen that video. Cheers for posting.
It does look like some odd driver aids are on, he should've spun out nearly every corner in the rain.

The other video is a great video. Tells you loads about the game and it makes it sound pretty amazing.

Interesting article with the Creative Director Andy Tudor - reference to VR in particular makes some positive noises and clears the air a bit more about their intentions.

May need a PS4 Pro to get it running properly.  35-38% performance increase in the first game when running in boost mode.   Can almost hit 60fps.

That's brilliant actually, a massive improvement. I'm impressed!

Here's an IGN hands-on writeup so far.

I'm pretty interested :D It might be time to dust off the old steering wheel and get some practice.

Little bit of info on the 'in game championships' can be found on the above link.
It looks a game changer to me. Should make weekly race nights a bit more fun too

The Rally Cross looks really good.
I keep getting torn to which game I am more hyped for, I still think Cars2 will top GT Sport.

I'll be picking up both of them though.
Oh and Dirt 4.

Whatever one runs full PS VR will most likely win for me
