When does Nintendo Switch get a new platform forum here? I don't think there will be much Wii / WiiU discussion any more.

i'm not a big console/handheld gamer and i'm especially not crazy about Nintendo IP but this device just screams out for me to buy it.

Launch day team. Just grabbed one from JB (so much for waiting lol)
Looks great but can't jam too much since I'm still in the office.

wow it's hella nice to play. Feels a wee bit cumbersome as a handheld but once i clipped the controllers onto the comfort grip or whatever it's called it just felt like playing a current gen console on a small screen. cant wait to hook it up to the telly later.

I stayed up way too late playing Zelda for hours and never really 'did' much story wise lol, I'm gonna get lost in that game forever I think.
I haven't played too much handheld mode, the screen is so big, I'm constantly scared I'll scratch it lol. Sorta miss the clamshell design of the DS families more than I realised I would.
Pro Controller is glorious to hold. I love it.

Just set mine up. Gotta say, that's the easiest console to set up from any console in a long time.
I've had it up and running for maybe 15 minutes and console is fully set up, I've downloaded Snipperclips and I've had a quick jam on Zelda.

Eeeeeeeeeee mine is sitting in its box ready to jam.
Once I finish family jobs I can set it up, then play it for a little while before I play more horizon zero dawn.

Zelda is legit as hell, even after about five minutes you can tell it's going to be incredible.

5 hours into Zelda, it has that same feeling as when I first played WoW day 1 of release. So much to explore, every action is an adventure in itself.
Spent a good 25 minutes cooking last night.
