I'm many hours in and haven't even left my first system yet. Exploring is fun as sh*t.

I find if your goal is to find all the fauna on any particular planet, that you get a lot of mining and language stone finding done.

But as I've read in previous comments, and I totally agree, it's little bursts at this title that make it enjoyable. The longer you play in one session, the 'shallower' the game seems. It helps if your planet is amazing to look at, sadly, all my prettiest planets have been devoid of fauna- so the incentive to stay has been nil.

Edit: I'm a rocket man...

Seems I've been lucky, only been to half a dozen planets and they have all been full of life.

Acid rain is a pain in the hole though.

Interesting, Forbes now reporting that it was a disgruntled employee and not an external hacker (see link from PG article). ??Actually Murray.

There was a big sh*t storm about it with nobody knowing exactly what is happening at hello games.

One minute it's a disgruntled employee, then that employee is Murray, then it's not. Anyone's guess.

Well the emails sent that claimed it was him used American spelling. So that's a bit of a red flag. Then there's the fact that some of what was said was almost like a disgruntled gamer saying everything people expect them to say. Lastly, it just doesn't sound like Sean Murray, and he's written enough that we should be able to tell his style and tone. The tweet was also posted via LinkedIn.

Meh, people should just get over it and move on.

Sean Murray's response to this is the most he's said since August 18th!

Also, weird he had a public conversation with the Hello Game's twitter, asking them if they had resolved their hacking issue... surely he is the one operating the Hello Games twitter, or sitting one room away from the person who does. Not having a public relations person was the reason the drama around this game exists in the first place!

Maybe the rumours of their office being abandoned was true. Those were only 'debunked' by a tweet highlighting some local criminal activity near the office, not from any word on the matter. The fallout from this game is far more interesting than the game itself at this point.

Definitely gives an incentive to fire it back up again. Still want to complete this game.
