I only got to place sonic around a mates house when i was younger and then i think i played a little bit of one of the modern sonic games on the Wii (? Secret rings) it was okay but never captured me enough to finish it. Wouldn't mind giving this a pop. Always preferred mario.

I'm sorry! Mario was a lot of fun, at first but it's just been dragging on for so long now.
To be honest though, it's been good 10 years since I played either Sonic or Mario games.
So my opinion doesn't matter lol
This does not compute. Mario owns Sonic. I loved Sonic 1 and 2 but Mario has had so many awesome games that its not even close.
Super Mario 3 was the game that blew my mind as a kid. I mean 1 was fun but when 3 came out it was like a whole different level. Everything changed.
Years later I played Super Mario Galaxy and the same thing happened. SMG and SMG2 are insanely good games. Its a shame they came out on the Wii with non-HD graphics but at the time I didnt care. Those games are seriously 100% awesome.

Its already here? I got it on the weekend - its on the PS store for $31
Played up to the 3rd set of Acts. Its basically Sonic 4. Very cool. Would have loved it to be the 2D 16bit gameplay but kept the HD graphics (like sonic generations) rather than HD retro style graphics, Im probably in the minority there as the retro graphics may be what others love. Other than that its awesome.

It's fun but with the graphics the way they are, the smaller the screen the better. My TV is too big for the 16-bit look.

I'm fairly far in - I dunno how many levels there are but slowly chipping away at it (on switch) and taking my sweet time. I love how each level has it's own unique mechanics.
