anyone else pick this up?

I finished my first play-through last night and almost sort of figured out the controls. Takes a bit of getting used to, although apparently if you're a Splatoon player it's a pretty easy transition over.

All the hate on the internet this game is getting is a bit sad, though, although I do wonder if ensuring 60fps across both screens was a worthwhile trade-off in terms of graphics (more in that it limits the detail of environments, number of on screen enemies and so on).

I wish there was more Arwing levels, although maybe that's just the default campaign route. All the other vehicles were a bit lame, or maybe it was just their levels were a bit lamer than the Arwing ones.

Haven't touched Guard yet because from what I can figure out I can't play it just on the gamepad. I'll probably check it out later once I've played another pass on StarFox itself.

Really enjoying the game at the moment, the controls are more than fine.

This is exactly what I thought the game would be - a remake of sorts w/ better graphics & stuff to finally use the gamepad with.

I have it, I enjoy it, I think the controls are fine.

Mind you, I didn't mind the controls in Lair either.

But yeah, it's nice revisiting the franchise. I haven't played a Star Fox game since Lylat Wars.
