Thought I would start a dedicated thread in the hopes we could get some regular discussion as the season progresses.

Managed to watch 3 games this week

Giants v Cowboys - So close!! Giants really should have won it and we would have if it wasn't for the mishandling of the last couple minutes. Not sure what Eli was thinking?! Also Unga's lack of experience was plain to see and he was therefore targeted pretty often by Romo who ended up completing most of the throws in that direction. And our pass rush really needs some work too, Romo was rarely put under any pressure, fortunately though the Giants secondary played well.

Bears v Packers - Forte was a beast, Cutler played pretty well but considering 14 points came from the defense, their offense is going to need some work. Aaron Rodgers got it done so nothing new there.

49ers v Vikings - Hyde played brilliantly compared to Peterson who was forgettable, will be interesting to see how Kaep holds up down the track when their behind on the scoreboard and having to chase the game by relying on the pass. Oh and Hayne played okayish I guess.

Yea as a Cowboys fan I have to say I loved that game lol!

Why they didn't run the last play is beyond me, Or Eli just take a knee when the pass wasn't going to work. Was great to see Romo move the team up the field like that though.

Felt sorry for Hayne having a fumble with his first touch. Hopefully things can improve for him. I see one of the 49ers RB's has got injured so there may be a few more runs for him?

Romo is so clutch, especially that fumble after the snap, he just regathers the ball and throws for a TD like it's business as usual.

Yeah was pretty unfortunate, it showed his lack of experience but being the professionsal he is I can't see him making the same mistake twice, hopefully the coaches realise this and give him a return or two this week too. Sounds like Bush is still injured so he'll probably remain the backup RB for at least this week too.

And they still win  <_<

Ugh... Giants really should have won today, especially after being 20-10 up early in the 3rd quarter, but again threw in away in the dying minutes due to poor clock management. It was great to see Vereen stepping up and taking some of the load off OBJ's shoulders though, so at least there's that to look forward to.

Dunno why we traded for Graham if we're not gonna f***ing use him. Huge lose to our O-line, which is super-lackluster this year, and we have him blocking. Just... wut?

First win for G-Men!! Was another nervous 4th quarter though, especially after the kick returner for the Redskins returned one for a TD. Eli's passing looked much more accurate this week too, not that will necessarily transfer to next week...

As I think tony dungy said, 9 teams with a winning record ATM, and a lot of mediocrity!

Loving the Broncos defence at the mo. Made the Packers look average.

Hard to watch my 49ers this season. Kaepernick... *sigh* it's a wonder they didn't bench him sooner instead of letting him dig the hole deeper.

Yeah he's reportedly been benched and I think it's good too. He's doing more harm than good. Never really liked him and gasped when that contract of his was accepted. I would want to get rid off him, but who would take him and that contract? Also sad to see Vernon Davis go and Peyton Manning should be able to get some goods from him.
