I'd have to get anything as I don't have any 360 games, but Horizon 1, and maybe SF3 Online Edition would be cool, as I never played that in any form really, only watched the arcades at uni years ago :).

In my (not so) humble opinion, there are two broad categories of game that need to get backwards compatibility ASAP.

The first are narrative based games, particularly if they have a sequel coming for the current generation. That includes games like Dishonoured, Dues Ex, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Bioshock, etc.
Frankly, story heavy games age far slower than generic shooters and sports games. Since the focus is on the world and the narrative, the older graphics and clunky gameplay don’t matter as much.
Plus it’s always nice to play a single series all the way through, particularly if they share a story arc.

The second group of games are niche genres that aren’t yet represented on the Xbox One. Obvious examples include Civilisation, Katamari democracy, Ace Combat, Xcom and Overlord.
It could even include games like burnout, because while we have racing games, they don’t share that same arcade, destruction heavy, sensibility.

The games we absolutely don’t need are games that already have current gen remakes (GTA, Metro, Saints Row, Halo 1/2/3/ODST, etc), games that are superseded by their sequels (basically any racing or sports game) or games that are largely identical with each iteration (CoD, Battlefield, etc).

Annoyingly, many of the games with the most votes are popular games that have since been superseded. I mean really, who is going to go back and play all of the old CoD games? Bad people who shouldn’t get a vote, that’s who.

What about backwards backwards compatibility? I'm keen as to play Warriors again. That game was awesome. Hang on. Actually a lot of what I liked about Warriors is covered by Sleeping Dogs. Just ignore me. It's almost home time and I'm tired.

Wouldn't backwards backward compatibility be forwards compatibility? So you don't need to upgrade to the Xbox Two?

I find it odd that they officially say "backward" rather than "backwards" ... it makes it seem sort of primitive and potentially more offensive words - a little backward? I probably have it backwards, but it does strike me as odd every time. But I think it is a step in the right direction :).

Ummmmm, yes?

The Warriors was on Xbox (original). It would be cool to see some Xbox original games but I suppose Rare has us covered for that ay?

I was wondering about that for Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, KotOR 1/2 and Jade Empire.

Ummmmm, yes?

Was supposed to be a joke, swing and a miss DM.

But yea I do wish that all consoles were backwards compatible for their consoles history.  So a PS4 would play PSX games and a XB1 would play XB games.

I gave away my 360 to my young nephew yesterday, since it was just gathering dust, I only had a few games to give him that were appropriate to his age, but he loves Minecraft so I'm going to get that for him. Now I have a bunch of games which I'm going to go through and decide which to keep in hope they'll eventually go on the BC list. The others I'll likely give away to friends and workmates.
