Stand alone stories for this or best to play them All?

Stand alone, don't need to play any other game before playing this one.

Game is great, only a few hours in but it's already crazy how big it is.

Can't decide if this is worth $500. Pokken tournament looks interesting too...Wii U looks tempting now

How did everyone get on with this?

I put it down because I was in NZ for 5 weeks over christmas then just started a new job so haven't played it a great deal. Sunk another 2 hours into it last night and found myself enjoying it (i'm level 13, for reference sake).

Many of the systems are still confusing to me (like what sort of mining is best, where to spend my mining money (is it just upgrading those arms people?) but aside from that the vibrancy of the areas and different monsters is pretty great.

I'm yet to pick the game up myself but I've heard nothing but good things about it.

You'll enjoy the WiiU. Not the flashest console but there are some damn good games that are not worth missing out on.

It is a very different console, but I have it hooked up in the lounge rather than my Gaming room, as I wont really have to worry about the daughter picking up words on it I feel like I would from GTA lol

I need to get some Mario Kart and Zelda games for it next I think. Maybe Splatoon and Starfox.

The combat in this is really cool. A lot of strategy involved but you have to actually read the manual to find that out lol. Loving this game

highly recommend SM3DW https://en.wikipedia..._Mario_3D_World

probably my favourite game on the system and easily the best Mario game since 64 for me.

Mario Kart 8 is also fantastic. Solid entry to the series.

Totally agree with Super Mario 3D World.

Seriously one of the most funnest games I have ever played. My wife does not care for games at all but we finished the whole game together and she loved it.

If I was picking between the two it would be SM3DW.

The cheapest I've seen it is from nzgameshop.

my wife loved it too . . . and then i ruined it by purposefully throwing her off stages. now she won't play it with me unless we're playing with other people. :(

it's one of very few games she actually has her own save file for.

Xenoblade X is like the almsost perfect blend of Skyrim, Star Ocean, and Mass Effect. So easy to get lost in this game, and I love the map being on the controller. Apparently the original is better, so I have alot to look forward to after this, but I dont think that will be till a long time yet.

I'm yet to get it but I heard there's going to be a updated version for Switch and I may just get it on there.

Definitely on my want list
