I got no prob with Honda, but it did give me a chuckle.

Honda seems the company everyone loves to hate

I dont mind the cars, its the typical owners that I tend to dislike really

It seems to be 2 groups of people in general that own hondas, Old people who dawdle and cant follow road rules, or mouthy fighty jumped up younger people who also cant follow the road rules, trying to race everyone in their non VTEC civic with a fartcan badly welded on

Brilliant weekend for NZ motorsport, Bamber and Hartley 1-2 at Le Mans, Evans 2nd in LMP2, Stanaway probably would've won in GTE Pro if his teammate didn't crash. Plus Paddon grabs the best result for a kiwi ever with 2nd in the WRC after leading the first 2 days

I saw him a month ago af the podium for the Otago Rally where he won it on the last stage, seems like such a decent and humble guy

How do you follow the WRC? It seems like WRC+ only gives you access to live tracking, a couple of streamed stages and more extensive video highlights. From memory Sky doesn't show stages live and only does replays/highlights at 2am, or has that changed in the last six months?

Oh and I read that Mitch Evans' car had electrical issues after a decent start. I think they were 5 laps down on the leader and ended up within a minute of winning it

Wicked man, he won in a escort right? amazing to win in something like that.

I watch the highlights on sky, record the awkward times then avoid the internet (spoilers) until I get to watch it. They have done some live stages, like 2 a day for some rallies that work for nz time (basically rally australia).

Yeah I heard Mitch went down a number of laps near the start but I suppose that's the great thing about endurance races, you have time to make it back up, crazy to think they made up that many laps though, shows their speed.

Yeah, he won in an old escort. For whatever reason I didn't realise at the time that Kennard was also his WRC co-driver

I'm looking forward to going home this week; means I can finally watch F1 and GP2 on a big screen in HD rather than stuttery streams on the laptop. Hopefully the kiwi boys have a good weekend

I know a guy racing in the sangyoung utes, apparently they are slower than 2kcup cars :o
I do not understand the appeal of the series (although would of course love to race them if given the chance, I would race anything)

It's probably not so much as the appeal of the series more than the appeal of being able to do something with that otherwise useless ute you bought :P
