Remember guys, everyone is innocent until they look like  they're guilty!

I often appear nervous in public... should I be asked for ID at the liquor store or be pulled aside at airport security? Same sought of situation really.

Get ID'ed if you look under 25. Airport Security I don't reckon they should, unless the sniffer dog sniffs ya or something shows up on X-Ray.

Also shops don't have the right to search your bag.

I'm sure they do have the right to search your bag... or they can call police if you don't oblige.

if a guy comes into a supermarket with his hands in his pockets and sunglasses, looking around his shoulder lots, keep an eye on him. if someones obliviously doing their weekly shop, maybe wait til you see them put something down their pants before asking them to leave based on their race or how they dress.

This how I get the supermarket chick to ask me what I've got in my pants??

Excellent.

About time the US dropped their case over Kim Dotcom... he is now required to reveal his entire fortune. I support the right to share music and movies for free.

And ISIS.

You officially take the complete muppet crown from Tuftsdude, well done.

No wonder why my head has been feeling cold for the last wee while. I'll miss that crown.

Tufts, don't give up so easy.  You worked damn hard for that crown.  Though reading through this thread I don't rate your chances of getting it back...

I find I get pulled over at airport security if once getting through the metal detector i shout 'yes !' and fist pump the air. That was an interesting 30 minutes in Heathrow airport.

Is it public exposure if they ask what's in your pants so you pull you dangle out?

But in relation to this thread the staff do have to make some big judgement calls, and some other muppets with "piercings blah blah" may have ruined that person's internal profiling.

I used to have long hair, wear my hood up and had piercings so I got questioned regularly, and didn't care. The way they humiliated her is what I see as unacceptable, profile away but wait for the right time and pull her aside, and when she queried it they should have answered it.

And Gonzala, yea they have the right to kick anyone off the premise but she had the right to not be humiliated for no reason and deserved answers.

Agree, they should have discretely escorted her to the office for a search. They have the right to do that if they are suspicious.

i cant stand what israel is doing to children and women in the gaza strip that is taking bullying to another level. And the u.n. just stand buy and do nothing w.t.f. i mean i dont support either side but anyone with eyes can see that blowing up innocent people hiding at refugee camps and schools is just wrong.

They can ask you to step to the side and tell you what's going on and ask to search tour stuff. If you say no they can call the cops and let them do it.

Either way there is many things that could be done that don't require embarrassing an innocent customer.

They can ask but they can't escort her anywhere unless they believe she has stolen more than $1000 worth of goods (which would be fairly hard at a supermarket) or it's between 9pm & 6am.

And Hamas aren't doing the exact same thing to the Israeli's? Pretty sure those rockets and mortars they are firing into Israel are pretty lethal too. Both sides are F**ked.
