Christchurch show has changed slightly because of those injuries.

Haha, not reading that. I want to have some surprises.

All up to date on the Mae Young Classic now, some super stuff in there but also a couple of dud/annoying competitors who got a lot further than they should have. Final next week will be interesting, especially as they've been building a big angle towards it.

Full restecp to Kairi Sane for taking a ludicrous steel ramp to the face in one match, she actualy had the grille marks imprinted in her cheek. Ouch.

WWE reports that Asuka has relinquished her title, apparently due to injury but seems she's also getting the call-up.

Other than the Iconic Duo, the NXT women's division are basically all gone. I assume they will just chuck a heap from the Mae Young Classic straight onto the roster afterwards?

Well Lacey Evans has been on a NXT show.  Kairi Sane is signed for 3 years, Dakota Kai & Bianca Belair were on the NXT wiki page.  I think the judo one Tatyana Conti is also signed.  Would make sense to have LeRae as well.

Now that Big Cass & Big Show are injured there is a rumour the Hardys will be at the Christchurch show.

Are they legit injured? Oh well, Hardys would be cool.

Not 100% sure about Big Show's hand but Big Cass did his knee in going for a Big Boot against Enzo.

Heard the Show was having surgery, so that's probably why he's out

I finally worked out the spoiler text so you can come in here without me spoiling the show.

I would have been interested to see how long Asuka won.  Kind of like the Goldberg streak too bad about the injury.

Still waiting to see if anyone posts decent shots from the show instead of stupid selfies.

I thought the ring itself was pretty small considering how much floor space was left.

I went with my friend, his nephew & one of his workmates.  Was surprised to see Jason Jordan win the Battle Royal & Heath Slater & Rhyno pickup a victory over Sheamus & Cesaro.  I know Jenesyde was going but not sure of anyone else.

Not surprisingly noone lost their titles but because the Miztourage interfered with the IC match it was made into a 6 man tag with Dean Ambrose & R-Truth.

Hopefully more pics of the ladies are uploaded soon since my phone camera was just crap.

In the street fight they used a kendo stick, the ringsteps & broke 2 tables so basically a hardcore match.

Pretty fun show, good crowd too. We had excellent seats in the lower bowl just beside the ramp. Couple of annoying shrieky kids behind me, but the row of guys in front of us were good value. Fat guy baiting The Miz got himself over bigtime, but after about ten minutes it got really old. Great crowd reactions though. Weirdest moment was before kickoff when my son was looking at the Titantron and said to me "Dad, that's us!" Turns out a photo I posted on Twitter just before the show was being used in the onscreen social media feed. Crazy stuff.

Matches were consistently good. Fun battle royal. Great to see Angle, Tozawa, Goldust (Attitude Era represent), Cesaro, Miz and Ambrose. Also D-Von Dudley working behind the scenes in the control room. Women's title match was probably the funniest, with Alexa running away and begging off the whole time but winning anyway. And always good to see Roman pick up a win despite a severe stairs-intensive beating from Strowman

Didn't bother buying a $60 t-shirt this time, went to JayJays the next day and got two for $50 instead. Woo!

Some No Mercy thoughts - SPOILERS-

Apollo deserves recognition. No doubt. Having him fall to Elias was another knock down on him that he does not deserve.

Miz should win more matches without his Miztourage to give him more credibility as being a soon to be longest running IC Champ ever. We all know Jason Jordan was gonna fall- he's a semi-face character but if he won he'd be another Reigns were his talent is wasted because he's pushed undeservingly to the top too fast.

Balor and Bray was good but not where either shown much. They both took hard hits and was mostly clean in their moves but it was nearly an afterthought running them before the TT Title match. Hopefully Finn's win will show he's ready to step back up to the plate for a championship. Maybe a solid feud with Miz after RR does his thing tomorrow on MizTV tomorrow.

Asuka promo- great but give a little back story with her and Bliss from NXT so there's even more hype. Alexa nodded to it in Raw Talk but what role will she play? Women's TLC with her added or she's in the title match with Bliss and the others TLC is for #1 contender?

Rollins/Ambrose and The Bar stole the show. Having them not come out together, as they have been, gave a devided look to their team setting up for the underlying 'turn' that the announce team was sure to weave in. Big bumps, speed, power, blood (though it was unintentional) all elevated this match. Great show by all 4 men. Cesaro earns VIP of the PPV for continuing street rearranging his face.

Fatal 5 way Women's title match was good. Each woman gave a strong performance to showcase each one's style. Be it Baley and Sasha throwing down on Nia or Emma trying to pick up a pin fall from someone else's efforts. Alexa winning was sort of predictable, but was not really what the title deserves. Nia should reign as Women's champ until WM where she faces Rhonda Rousey or Asuka to establish a real dominance in the division. Showing that the women's revolution isn't just about the smaller framed women. She has been a serious force and her turn with the title should have started tonight.

Cena falling to Roman was a bad call. The entire match lacked the power and excitement we've come to expect from "Big Match John". He looked lethargic during 90% of the match. 4 AAs took down most, but why is Vince booking Reigns to be indestructible? The A'Noi family has something hanging on Vinces head to allow this push for Roman to the top, regardless of how many in the WWE Universe (that he claims to love) are canceling their subscriptions to WWE Network and not tuning in to the "flagship show" because of the rediculous disregard to what the fans are saying in EVERY arena. Roman could have fallen to John and finished the fued at TLC at an 'I Quit' match with the winner's contract hanging above the ring. Leaving Cena to walk out to an abundance of cheers and, in typical Vince fashion, he would show back up at the Royal Rumble as a mystery entry- winning. Reigns nabs the belt at RR and Cena shows up on the stage pointing to him and the WM sign as if to say 'we're not through yet'. John falls to Cena at WM and takes off again for a few months.

Neville should not bother with losing the title. Enzo cheated for his victory, as we as fans have predicted, and he'll fall to Neville on the rematch possibly before HIAC weekend. Enzo is not championship material. He's better suited to kayfabe an injury that takes him out of the ring for good and take up a Titus O'Neill and Paul Heyman role. Pumping up crowds for his talent he'd 'mentor'.

Braun was the clear winner. Nobody believed the F5 outta nowhere. Just a unbelievable as Reigns kicking out of 4 AAs. Why develop Braun into such a Monster and an unstoppable force to have him fall so easy. Braun is without a doubt one of the best talents Raw is wasting the real potential of. He's over with majority of fans (primarily due to his Wyatt overthrow and feud with Reigns) and he could remain the Heel he is but cheered. Ruthlessly beating challengers to prove he's no Face to look up to. Then having Reigns renew the rivalry after a short IC run saying he may have lost his IC title but he's looking to bigger and better things- Brauns title. Throw together a typical gimmick match at the Rumble and have Braun lose.

I thought it was a pretty average show.

Cesaro's injury was f***ing nasty, smashed out his front teeth.

Braun/Brock was a massive dud.

Also, Cena's attitude and grandstanding last night was approaching Hulk Hogan levels of wankery. Hope he stays gone a good long time.

Me too, although I don't think him passing the torch to Roman is a good idea either.

I loved him in The Shield, but not so much as a solo competitor. I'm more of a KO man myself.

Snorefest. The two actual Hell In A Cell matches were good (though why Shano insists on idiotically jumping off the thing I'll never know), the rest forgettable or plain crap. And Nakamura losing again to Jinder - what the hell?

Also, I find it extremely annoying when the commentators call the cell a "Hell in a cell". Morons.
