Hey everyone, I don't post a lot in the forums, I tend to do most of my chatting on the news pieces or in the blogs, so it was quite the surprise to see after I had uploaded my latest blog entries (5 in total) that the area showcasing the newest community reviews and blogs had been removed from the side bar on NZGamer.com's main page.
Now, in order to get to the community content, you have to scroll (quite a way) down to the bottom of the page where there are two links in very small writing; one for Blogs, another for Reader Reviews.
Where is the love for the bloggers and people who want to share their thoughts on games and gaming news/culture? At the very least get us a link at the top by the Search bar.
Maybe something is happening down the pipeline, or maybe it hard to be temporally removed to make way for the amount of e3 content that was going to be listed on the side in the much expanded "Latest Headlines" or so the "Hottest Games from E3" Follow links could be shown... but it feels like a little slap in the face to the people who want to have their say in that blogging space. Also makes going up the VIP ranks all the more difficult, because if no-one knows you have new content, how are they going to be able to comment or rate them... except for the person going through a rating everything I've written a 1 star, thanks a lot for the -1 points ya douche :/
Ugh, anyway, it would be cool if we could get the community content in the spotlight just a little more than.... well.... 2 tiny links in the bottom corner of a now VERY long page.
Oh, and so you don't have to go hunting for it yourselves, here's the two links:
