My boys 2 and he's a terrible sleeper too. He was good, but long story short we had to let someone else use his room for a bit and he slept in ours. Ever since then he has had to sleep with us... if we put him in his room he would scream until he made himself sick.

Over the past few months we convinced him to try his room again, but he wont go to sleep unless one of us is with him... and even then most nights he comes in and jumps into bed with us by 11. I have no idea how we're supposed to break this cycle at this stage

Identical situation. He will go to sleep in his own bed but we have to pay with him. Sometimes hell sleep through the night though

not something I want to make a habbit of but we were getting desperate and needed sleep

I bought some candy canes for tomorrow but the boy really wanted one, so offered one the next time he goes toilet.

I have never seen someone work as hard as the boy did to get that tiny poo out.

First birthday for my son today. Had a nice day across the park. He seems more interested in the balloons and rubbish more than the actual presents though! Haha.

We all seem ok this morning.

They buy has wanted suspicious amounts of cuddles so we are keeping an eye on him.

Hope all of you are enjoying your Christmas mornings with your young ones. Buying presents sucks but watching your kids opening them is amazing.

The Mrs liked her Nespresso machine and capsules so all round brownie points for DM!

Looking forward to when my son realises balloons are not the hottest gift to receive...

I absolutely love watching videos of kids opening presents, going crazy and then breaking down and thanking their parents for it.

My kids had a pretty epic Xmas. They got spoilt this year from family. An outdoor playground,I made them a huge sandpit and like 50 small gifts. I got my oldest a Minecraft controller, a stormtrooper costume and some more star wars stuff.

Sadly my family came to visit this year so it's a crowded mad house. Can't escape, and my wife has to work tomorrow and doesn't get a day off. Going to be crazzzzy

Example of hospital pass/hot potato -

Wife - can you take the baby to play for a minute, just need to grab something

Me - Yeah sure, she doesn't need her nappy changing?

Wife - No, she's fine *Hands Baby over*

Baby - Poonami, leaking through clothes, stinking to high heaven

Me - She is literally covered in poo

Wife - Oh can you change her then **Walks off with smile**
