Holy crap slime rancher is amazing.

Addictive huh? I've spent far too much time on it in the last few weeks.

Hell yea. I sunk so many hours into it Sunday and want to sink some more time into it.

Perfect GwG game as that would have flown right under my radar but I'm glad I had a play.

Yeah I would have passed it by, too.

Almost did, even as GwG, but seeing a few others playing it, I gave it a go.

Feeling 80% done with it now.  Will finish over the coming week, but doubt I'll play again or go for any DLCs.

The grind at the end is real.  I'm at level 20 now so not much more to go.  Seems fairly well paced though as it's only really just starting to *feel* grindy.

Had a whole bunch of pink phosphors in the grotto I was getting sick of caring for.  Didn't feel like dragging them out and spitting them off a cliff one by one, or wasting money on an incinerator in there, so jut spat a stack of tabby plorts into there and ran out.  Came back next night and my problem had resolved itself, let's say   Excellent. So did the same with my tabby rocks in the overgrowth and some pinks.

Haha I did this when I was rearranging which largos I wanted. Never keep Tangle Largos near another corral or you'll have issues with Tarr quite quickly lol.

I spent way too long before I discovered where you do gun upgrades, Tar is an ass to deal with when you haven't added a water canon :P

And by ass to deal with, I mean you just run and hope it doesn't happen in your ranch, which it did, which was actually handy because In my eagerness at the start of the game I got way to many pinks everywhere so it gave me a fresh start.

I tried it for an hour but it all felt a bit too aimless, can see why it appeals to some but I was bored pretty quickly.

Looks like the Games with Gold for September have been released. A lot people were talking about how great Oxenfree was and I was bumming out that I didn't buy it when it was on sale recently. Glad I waited.

Go do that FM5 drift now eh?

Hydro Thunder Hurricane is interesting. Have only played on tablet with tilt controls.

Battlefield numbers are more confusing than Xbox numbers. 2 > 1 > 4 > 3?

Did have another go. Tried with an LS1-powered 300ZX. Little changes in tuning. Definitely easier to drift with the instantaneous power of an NA V8 in comparison to having to keep the turbo spooled. Doesn't excuse the crapped handling of the game though.

Star wars battlefront season pass is currently free on Xbox store if you are an Xbox gold member. I think there is only 5 days remaining for this or you can pick up the ultimate edition I believe it was under NZ$10
