Might have to do some research tonight, can't be too hard right?

A young guy I know made it, so can't be all that hard.

Current Favourite - Asahi Super Dry
Favourite Style - Lager
Favourite Stout - Not a fan
Most drunk - Waikato Draught
Worst Beer - Brenner
Go to beers - Asahi, Corona, Steinlager
Furthermost Brewery Visited - Haven't visited one =(
First Beer - Flame. People in West Auckland love the stuff. At 5.2% and on a tight budget I guess I don't blame em.

I don't drink all that often so I don't really have many great stories (except for embarrassing ones that I can't be sure actually happened)

Ahhh ... can't hate on Flame. A very cost effective manner of getting hammered :D

I find beer branding quite interesting. In NZ, Corona is regarded as an upmarket brand but in America it's cheap as chips (it's like their flame)

On the other hand they love Fosters...

Fosters was pretty popular in the UK when I was there, having said that I could buy 24 cans (that's around a pint a can, none of this stubby sh*t) for 20 quid.

More to do with economics than branding since Corona is an import beer. Mexico's proximity to the states allows for cheap movement. Whereas we are aaaaaaages away so we end up paying more for the import.

Suckled on the teat of a Liberty Yakima Monster last night. Not bad, very hoppy APA style with hints of passionfruit up front, malty finish - 8/10.

A joke...

There's a big conference of beer producers in America. At the end of the day, all of the presidents of all beer companies decide to have a drink in a bar.

The president of 'Budweiser' orders a Bud, the president of 'Miller' orders a Miller Lite, Adolph Coors orders a Coors, etc; Then the waitress asks Arthur Guinness what he wants to drink, and much to everybody's amazement, Mr. Guinness orders a Coke!

"Why don't you order a Guinness?" his colleagues ask.

"Naah. If you guys won't drink beer, than neither will I."

You could go for a smoked beer but they are a bit like Rashuns. I would try Monteiths Doppel-bock

I love 8 Wired's range, the Bumaye and the iStout are top notch. Get you fairly wrecked though at 16% and 10.5% respectively! Halletau Double Stout is ridiculous too.

For cooking I reckon you can't go wrong with Coopers Best Extra Stout, I've used it in a chocolate stout cake and cupcakes with great success.

My favourite is Tuatara Pilsner. Only time I've really drunk beer regularly was when I was doing my MA and we would go to the uni bar and they had $7 Tuataras for happy hour. Will also go for a Corona or Macs Gold.

I love Tuatara Pilsner, would take it over any other drink at the moment.

Brought four pack of Tuatara Pilsner...have to say it right up there with the best of the best. But why only a four pack...?

Get to Peggy Gordons and try one off the tap! Nothing like Tui/Speights, or even Speights Old Dark. I'm no expert beer taster but after sampling my fair share of the Irish nectar (at the source even too) I'd say it's creamy, thick, not too fizzy, and malty.
