Hey guys,

Had a quick search but did not find anything specific to this. Anyone have or tried the Wheel Stand Pro?

I came across it today and it looks on the face of it pretty good design. My problem is I only have a couch and have not used my wheel since I moved out of my flat and random/ugly solutions don't fly well anymore...

So this would be a nice compromise, they ship to NZ apparently. One thing makes me nervous is that they are scant on details and there are some pricing discrepancies so I'm emailing to find out what's up.

Just read a review of it - http://www.gtplanet....ro-v2-reviewed/

Sounds like a pretty cool device especially if you can't have a permanent setup.

If you buy it, let us know total cost etc, as some others might be interested.

I had a look at buying this, but the shipping cost was going to be about $100, due to it's size.

That was going to make the total cost at $300, with a discount. I decided that was a bit step so didn't go through with the purchase.

Yeah just an update - I got an email back and the cost was as ademorg posted above, about $300. I may still get one, but not until next year. Will update if I do - still like the idea.

I've made something temporary before but I just don't have the time right now to make anything decent (Im a perfectionist!). Might have a look around at some DIY stuff. Just needs to be collapsable and adjustable. Also needs to look nice so the wife is happy ha!

Do you have plans or remember the designs you used?

Did you decide on anything else? Or are you still looking?

I am just going to hold off for now. Would rather spend that money on a PS4. Then I will look again.

I have seen a video with it and am considering taking my PS4 money and using it to buy a stand and GT 6... Decisions!

I want to make sure my G-27 steering wheel will work with the PS4 first. I'm sure it will.

According to http://www.simdrivin...-to-work-on-ps4 it should be ok.

That means... Get this wheel stand, get gt6 and save for a ps4 as my wheel will still work!

Just received my Wheel Stand Pro today. Got it From Amazon for $365 delivered. I bit higher than when I first started looking but the cheapest I could find at the moment.

Ordered it last Tuesday and got it today, so really happy with the time it took to get here.

Have spent a couple of hours playing GT6 and I am really happy. The stand is built very well and is very stable. The weight helps.

It comes mostly assembled. All I had to do was attach the bracket for the gear leaver and then attach all the components of my steering wheel.
