Arrrgh.. That has burst a bubble..

I was most keen for this NG title.

I just hope that the game will be solid.

I have fears of massive delays, where they lack after the delayed hype.

So apparently The Division won't be hitting a 2014 release with the game barely in development according to a source inside Ubisoft Massive

According to a source at The Division developer Ubisoft Massive, the PC, PS4 and Xbox One game won't be able to meet its projected 2014 launch. The game takes place in New York as it's swept up in a global pandemic triggered during Black Friday.

"The game engine works well, it's not done but works well. The actual game development has barely started, however," a Ubisoft Massive source has toldGameReactor. "The fact that Ubisoft has gone public with a 2014 release date feels laughable to be perfectly honest, we will never be able to release The Division this year. It's a large project, and we have very far to go."

I refuse to believe anything until they make an official statement. Unfortunately it seems to fall in line with a pattern of delays by Ubisoft recently.

On the bright side if this is true. I trust that when Ubisoft make a delay it really is for the greater good of the game, Unlike another major publisher they don't like to put out a game that requires a launch patch followed by weekly fixes.

Recently Ubisoft has been delaying a lot their games.

Watch_dogs

Splinter Cell: Blacklist

Hitman 5

Rainbow Six: Patriots

Ghost Recon

Well, the titles I have been interested in.

I'd rather them delay than launch a game with update after update like a lot of recent games.

That said, they will have shareholders to please at some point and a game company that doesn't release games isn't attractive.

A feeler beta.

That would make me a happy panda, indeed.

Was stoked, though underwhelmed with the recent showing at E3.

Still, so many questions.

Ah what a glorious bump! Suprised I haven't posted here yet. This has easily been my most anticipated game of the past few years. As if the TC stamp didn't already hint it was going to be an entertaining tactical shooter, it's set near-future sci-fi and in an open-world, purely urban landscape, borderline-post-apocalyptic, with RPG elements of progression... pretty much ticks off my entire checklist.

Still excited about this, I just hope it delivers.

Need to see more or some early access to a beta would be nice. Maybe early next year?

His books are amazing and I really hope this game lives up to the quality of his books and do his memory justice.

Beta access is now available for joining at

It deffinately looks like it will be good for community nights next year! Game looks like great fun. I cant wait to try the beta to see if it is worth a purchase. I just joined the waiting list so here's hoping.

This game was exciting when it was revealed, it's been boring ever since :/. The advertising campaign for this game has been way too long.

Yea they seem to anounce stuff way too early now, but I think it is mainly to beat the leaks. Either that or something went way wrong in development and it was supposed to be out a while ago.

Rather Ubisoft just want a flashy reveal for E3 every year, but they do them far too early. It hurt Watch Dogs bad, not sure why they haven't learnt.
