Hate this series. I'd like to see it fail miserably.

Totally worth the comment then??

I would like to see the V8 Supercars and to be able to use the F1 in standard races. But hopefully more online race nights.

I want to see more tracks, it doesn't matter if they are real tracks or PD developed tracks just as long as we have a whole lot more(yes I'm greedy). Oh and about tracks, bring back Special Stage R11 from the original Gran Turismo.

More japanese classics that have racing pedigree eg. The racing rotaries(R100s, RX2s and RX3s) and their road production counterparts.

More sound assets please. I'd like an American Muscle car that actually sounded like one.

No XP and no grinding please.

Engine swaps/conversions on arcade mode.

A nice gui interface for Simulation mode.

A website where we can build our own car shells for personal use on Arcade mode.

More rims please(and stock that gets updated in conjunction with real life stock).

Better (more simulation oriented) physics, sound, graphics and, above all, a nice user interface.

Basically I want something like iRacing but with a thousand domestic street cars on street courses and race tracks and dirt, rain, full car damage.

PLus all the little things like paint, leaderboards, penalty systems and all that.

:)

Less loading time, more things to do, more exciting events, more retro cars, more fun.

Things I want to GT6 - Basicly I want to see a more realistic game with huger amount of cars / tracks. A much better GUI would also be handy.

In more specific terms:

Tracks

-Loads of tracks

-Damageable barriers / tyer walls

-Leave tracks on grass / drit

-Every track should be able to be run in reverse.

Cars

-Huge variety of cars (mainly premium) -including more F1 Cars, V8 Super cars etc etc

-Proper damage (Or not at all)

-Customizable liveries

-More customizable body kits

-Far better sounds

Gameplay

-Better handling phyics

-Better contact phyics (when hitting or being hit by other cars)

Online

-Some sort of online ranking system

-Less problems (Join lobby fails, players can not see all racers etc fixed)

-Set up an event: 3 or so races etc instead of just single

-Add a car requirement " Race" or "Road" like the "GT500 class"

-The ability to turn contact off: Have all cars start at the same point on the track and ghost through eachother. Basicly a symatanious time tiral race.

-Fine tune short cut/collision penalties so you dont get them when you are crashing allready

Random bits

-A much faster GUI that doesnt take forever to load everything.

-The option to turn off the little video that shows you the car that you have just bought.

-The option to "select multiple cars" and purchase them in one quick go

-The option of "fit out all best parts" when upgrading cars

-No limit of how much money you can hold

Im sure they was more but thats all I got off thew top of my head

I was close to hitting the delete button on that one. ;) Seriously! I like to think I've played FM4 and GT5 quite a bit, so... I'm not sure where you're coming from with that one. There are a couple of things I like from FM4 which really could do with coming over (leaderboards, if they were seriously addressed to be balanced, and paint) but I have found most of the core features such as graphics, sound, some aspects of the physics, to be preferable in GT5.

But I suppose everyone wants a different sort of game. Some want a game, but I want to drive my car on the tv.

I want damage and better restrictions for races (if i buy one good car i shouldnt be able to enter and win every race on the game)

also more events would be good with a better progression (not just going to the next one on the list)

Basicly thats it but it needs to be done well although they will obviously need to do more to survive as a franchise

Straight up id like to see a ps4 launch title!!!

That and no cash cap better suspension mods and more prem cars!

The biggest thing for me would be a better way to score the drifts and be able to use it online to have proper drifting competitions.

I've played both games and loved them but the amount of things you can do in Forza just keep me more entertained than the content in GT. For instance, the event list that has pretty much stayed the same since GT3. New things have been added but the fabric of the game has remained very much the same.

as to core features, GT5 has more admirable graphics, better physics but shockingly bad sound. Like the tyre screech file that has stayed the same throughout GT.

I'm not saying Forza is better for everyone. I'm saying thats what I want to see.

Good post :D

Haha yeh the events menu is part of the terrible UI which I want to see overhauled, but I have to say that I liked the bi-weekly online events, time trials and drift challenges. Also definitely liked the special challenges (Sebastien Loeb rally stage, Nurburgring training series, etc.) so I reckon it was a tiny bit redeemed. Pretty much on par with Forza 4's ocean-sized bucket list + interesting weekly rivals modes, I think.

I am always surprised to hear about the sound. I know it has had some bad elements, but the good sounds in it are very good.

Forza's crap sound drives me crazy; listening to the one tyre screech sample loop over during a long slide is awful, as is the "steppy" pitch of the engines as they rev up. I very much prefer GT5's sound with the transmission noises, the engine and exhaust noises, even the tyres, so... yeh it's weird how everyone's different.

But yeh the whole gameplay and menu system of GT has gone nowhere, I am very much in agreement there.  :)

iRacing still has the best sound and physics ;) But I'd say 90% of GT players would be put off the game if GT went down the race simulator track.
