Fully excited about this both the main and the Matty Garcia fights should be entertaining to watch.

Garcia fight was fantastic.

Mayweather fight was an absolute lesson. Can't believe one of the judges scored it 114-114! Should have been 120-108 easily and maybe 118-110.

Sometimes i wonder what fight the judges are watching......

Mayweather still has 4 fights left and there is literally no one good enough to challenge him. Will be interesting to see what direction he takes for the next fight......

Mayweather pretty much outclassed Canelo, very punch was precise. Canelo did well, he lasted all 12 rounds and had some winning rounds as well. Hopefully this defeat doesn’t ruin his career too badly.

Garcia vs Matthysse fight was a lot more entertaining. I thought Garcia fought a bit dirty and didn’t really deserve the win. He had a few too many low blows and was lucky with Matthysse’s eye swelling up. Garcia also clinched as soon as Mattysse did anything, which I know is legal but its a shitty way of boxing.

All the fights were split decision when they didn't really seem that way live.

Canelo has a good chin and is a tough mofo. Mayweather doesen't have the punching power to knock anyone out anymore. But yea Canelo can be proud he went 12 rounds with the best ever and diden't really even get that hurt. Remember the kid is only 23 so this fight won't blemish his career. He is the future of boxing and this would have been a great lesson for him that he will hopefully use to improve his style.

I thought Garcia should have been docked more points( maybe 3 points) for those low blows. I can understand one or maybe two low blows by mistake but some of them were ridiculous. The fight was really hard to call and one of those where you wish no one would lose but i guess Garcia as the champ deserved to just sneak the win. I would love to see a rematch though.

Parker won. Second round KO. Fight should have been stopped in the first round.

Parker is lucky his corner did a great job of stopping the bleeding otherwise he would have been toast, man can he punch though that right jab is something else.

I watched the stuff.co.nz video of the fight. From that it looked like the fight should have been stopped it well before  Afa Tatupu was finally on the canvas.  He was dazed for a good 30 seconds.

SB-dub will have his title stripped for not defending it, and it will be vacated... and Parker will fight for it against some nobody.. and Parker will go on to have both....

Good. Rather have the titles with a professional boxer than a show pony anyway.

Well it would be a huge mistake for SBW to try fight Parker as imo Parker would wipe the floor with him.

Bradley v Marquez starting soon!

Really hope Marquez can win so he can go out as the champion he is.

Edit:

He lost :( Pity. Still a first ballot HOF'er. Privileged to have watched him fight.

Anyone watch the undercards? Lamachenko looks really good. A little skittish throughout the fight but great speed and power. Could have a bright future.

Went into town with some mates to watch the boxing.

We all ended up getting drunk by the Tua fight, and missed it all.

Heard he lost, no idea how the fight went.

Opinions?

He pretty much lost every round(depending how biased you are he maybe got 2 or 3 rounds on points, maybe). Far too reliant on a knockout, makes him one dimensional. Probably time to retire.

@Original Noob. I see Golovkin won another fight easily. He needs to try and fight a more marquee guy now to really get his name out there and take things to the next level.

Not surprised really ey.

He has always been that guy, a one-punch fighter.

Would be pretty hard to outbox a guy alot taller and 25kg heavier.

Tua didn't pull the trigger enough and get inside with body shots to open up the head. Throwing single shots rather then setting him up with combos. Kinda glad he retired though, hasnt looked that good in his fights since Cameron '09.

Bro, Golovkin is the truth. Top middleweights know this. They will avoid him as long as they can. Some will even vacate their titles to avoid fighting him. Martinez would get good boy'd, Quillin would get good boy'd, even super-middleweights like Carl Froch would get good boy'd. The only fighter I see beating GGG (bar Mayweather at a 152 lb catchweight) is Andre ward at super-middle. And that's in a close points decision.

I like his last fight interview: "Hey man, just go in home, tell parents just 'Hi, I come back'. Thank you". (In that Borat accent LOL) :D

Anyone gonna stream Broner-Maidana on Sunday?

I'm praying Maidana can shut that Mayweather-wannabe up, but I don't think he'll be able to deal with the slickness...

I might. Where do you usually stream from? Firstrowsport?
