Just wondering if anyone else has been getting the TERRIBLE lag when playing this with people from outside Australia/NZ?

If I try and connect to anyone in the States, Canada or the UK (most of the people I end up being connected to...) for Spartan Ops or campaign co-op, the lag is so bad I actually can't play, but in War Games it's fine.

I'm wondering if its just me, or NZ in general?

On that note, would anyone care to join me for some missions? I've yet to play all of the released episodes and its bugging me no end!

How many people can play Spartan Ops at once? I've only done the first mission. Would be keen to play with people online :)

Awesome guys! I believe up to 4 people at once can join Spartan Ops but I'm not sure. Invites are on their way.

Yeah up to 4 players can play Spartan Ops. It's awesome and I highly suggest you play Episode 3: Chapter 4. Blew my mind!

Will have to wait until Sunday night to play online with anyone. House sitting with the modem on the opposite end of the house to the living area and location of my computer. Xbox 360 plugged into Laptop with Internet Connection Sharing to get wireless connectivity. Won't stay on Xbox Live for more than 10minutes then just disconnects. :(

Anyway, when I get back to my place, will be keen to jam some Halo 4!

I don't think 343 thought very hard when coming up with the name "Spartan Ops". *cough* Special Ops *cough*

You do realise Special Ops is an actual thing in real life, not invented by Call of duty right?

yeah I know this. But it seems a lot of halo 4's inspiration came from mw3.

They are a competing fan base. If one group doesn't like Halo, they're usually COD fans. And vice-versa. 343i are probably trying to poach their fan base with the incentive that Halo can be played like COD, except survivability is greater.

Honestly halo was best the way it was. Now everyone can just spawn power weapons unlike before where you had to reach the weapons first.

Even with the power weapons, the game is fairly balanced to a degree. I still find myself getting aced by people with the loadout weapons rather than those with power weapons. It is annoying though when you do get killed by wielders of power weapons.

The SAW with damage boost is unstoppable.

I'm not too worried about this combo as the games I've played I haven't had to worry.

The thing I hate is when you run someone over with ghost and they don't die even though you boosted directly into them.

I think earning weapons is better than just having whoever happens to spawn closest to a one hit kill weapon is gonna dominate the match.

Depends if said player is any good with the power weapon. I've versed people who have had the shotgun and I've killed them with melee.

Were you playing against me by any chance?
