My paint entry. It's a replica of the Dave Coe Imprezza from the UK Time Attack series apadted to fit the 22b. I'll gift it over to Teljam later on tonight.

Disappointed I'm working this Sunday. Would have loved to have taken part in this. :(

EDIT: Actually, work is likely to be quiet this sunday, so there is a chance I can leave early. I'll update this post tomorrow if that is the case. *fingers crossed*

EDIT2: While I love Forza, I am a total newbie at two particular aspects of it. One is tuning, and the other is painting. I have never really taken much interest in either. Instead, relying on the abilities of others via the Storefront.

Although it will be difficult for me to free up the time to participate in this event, I decided to get ready for it -just in case-. In an attempt to change my habits, and gear up a car to my liking instead of someone elses, I decided to try tuning and painting.

My tune is coming along nicely, although the gearing needs more work.

My paint is very much in it's infancy, but hoping to finish it over the next 48 hours or so. I figure I'll post up a WIP pic for now anyway. So, here goes:

There is a tune made specifically for the series on Teljam's storefront if that helps :)

Cool paints :) Cats.

Oh, Skorpion sends his apologies; he'll be out of town and can't race.

are people making tunes per track, or just a single tune? really getting into learning atm, but only doing one

I'm a total tuning noob, so I'm working on one tune at the moment. But, I've downloaded that tune from teljam's storefront, so might edit it for each track, and see if I can go faster with my tune than that tune. Not expecting to win anything while trying to tune for the first time, but at least I'll have a benchmark to work from.

You can't edit a tune off the storefront :)
Earlier in this thread I posted the parts build I used for it though. There are two, but I think the second is better.

I'm way, way behind schedule, have done no practice nor tuning since building that car, but I plan to make three different setups. The level of competition is so high that I need every advantage I can get to even hope for a podium.

Not trying to edit it, just trying to get better lap times with mine, than that tune. Giving myself a bench mark, then adjusting things to better match my driving style. :)

As for competition, it's a slim chance I'll be able to make it, so that'll be one less person to worry about. Will be a shame to miss it though, as it sounds like a fun arvo is going to be had by all. :)

Crikey, what drama. After 12 days without the internet due to corrosion in my ADSL jackpoint, my xbox live account has now been suspended due to problems with my credit card, to the point where I can't even redeem a code to get back on, and can't afford to rectify the situation until next Tuesday. I will probably be racing with my nightwlfUS account and a 48 hour code, but will not be entering the livery competition.

Good luck, I have a wheel but never used it. I could never get used to it gaming, nor did I really have the time to get the practice in. So for me I decided to stay with controller, as I can get precise cornering even with the controller, but probably not 100% like a wheel can.

There's no way you'd be instantly faster on a wheel anyway though, I don't reckon :D So it's all good. Even if you had one before.

Trademe is about half shilling, I reckon, about a quarter joke bidding and the last quarter genuine buyers.

My phone is not charging so I can't use it for organisational race communication :-/

Had a sweet couple of races, unfortunately couldn't make it to either final because of network issues, but that's the way things go sometimes. Good luck to everyone still racing! Thanks for all the organisation that went into it =)
