Junjou Romantica

Do you read it online or have you got the volumes? I've been reading it online, but I wanted to buy a few of my favourite volumes. However, I can't find a store that sells them. :o I really don't want to buy off Amazon where the price for overseas shipping is more than the price of the item. <_<

I read it online ^^; I know, Amazon shipping is expensive. I saw a copy Volume 1 copy on trade-me once. Why don't you just print off your favorite pages and blue-tac them to your walls? =3

Early on. Like chapter 10. Decided to read it because I immediately thought 'House of the Dead' when I saw the title.

Just got caught up on Gantz. It is so crazy now, I don't know how they are going to keep going for much longer, maybe it's almost finished.

Catching up on Bakuman. Not as brilliant as Death Note, although it's by the same team, but still pretty addicting and quite clever. Not too sure how'll they'll keep it interesting, though, and having the story revolve around a real company (and, to some degree, real people) is a little risky.

The Ouran High manga isn't actually that good. The panels are over crowded and the story arcs drag on too long... to the point where you actually start to forget what the story of each arc is. The art is rough and the characters are flatter. I preferred the anime because it was easier to follow, a little more condensed, funnier and a more powerful story in general. I still like the manga, but (for once) I have to say that the anime wins hands down.

^ I agree. I enjoyed the Ouran anime, then figured the manga would be just as great - while it is funny, I did find that the panels are over crowded, and especially if there's handwritten text, there have been times where I'd have to squint to read it. I don't have bad eyesight either lol. I've stopped reading it since vol 14 or so I think...

Back OT, I'm currently reading/following at the mo':

Hokuto no Ken, Dorohedoro, Trinity Blood, Toshokan Sensou Love & War, Bleach & Naruto (mostly skimming, not as much of a fan as I used to be a few years ago)... Ah, I miss Hagaren (FMA), if only Arakawa-sensei would make a sequel...

Well, let's not allow this thread to die again so soon!

I have just discovered the existence of Billy Bat. I don't know how I missed it as it's by my favourite mangaka, Naoki Urasawa. It is pretty insane and even more far-fetched than stuff like 20th Century Boys or Pluto but still strangely compelling.
