Imagine that wait and then when it does finally come the steak you order is 1cm thick and dry (T bone steak"") avoid the steakhouse in rotorua eat street..

on the other hand..my delicious bowl of ramen with cheese and veges and of course some nice toast is fricken amazing right now!

Pasta tubes in a fromage reduction, drizzled with a chili jus and served with jumbo isoceles croutons.

Sorry to dig this up but I keep wondering: is that just mac'n'cheese on toast halves?

Yep.

Made some Cajun chicken, got complaints that it was too spicy because apparently if it can make people with blocked noses run and feel like they are on fire I am doing it wrong....

Was always dubious about these. The idea is pretty good though.

It is a good idea.

I mean they were easy to use, and a good size.

They're great for people who have to watch carbohydrate intakes, because they're just 1 serve.  I need to keep mine to around 10 a day before exercise, failing to do so for a few days pushes my blood sugar too high and I wind up with a debilitating headache.

So I was all YEAH!  2 sandwiches! nom nom nom. But ugh, there was just no substance to them.  Even buying the wholemeal ones, they were quite low in fibre and just fluff. soggy fluff by lunchtime  the bread equivalent of candyfloss.

Will go back to the vogels;  2 slices of that stuff is the equivalent serve, but way more satisfying than two sandwiches' worth of the other!
