I've been meaning to make a thread like this for ages.

Yup. But I'm not going to say who he is on this forum, because it'll just be an embarrassment.

Superbacon?
I've visited your DA before, linked from a Fave maybe.

Nah, then pen tool makes my head hurt. I should probably use it though. My lines would be smoother then ^^

Usually a 1-3px round brush for linart/sketching. I use round brushes for colouring too. I do all the flat colours first, then choose a really dark shade, set the opacity to about 6, and shade. Occasionally I'll use dodge and burn, but not often and only for little things like eye details and reflections.

If I'm cell shading, it's basically the same, but without the opacity. I hate cell shading, but it usually looks better XD

Illmatic, I really like the second one. Do you have Deviantart?

Nah, i don't think i draw enough to keep it updated. I'd want to get a lot better before i'd think about that anyway. :)

I started these two drawings at work. I've scanned them in, so i'll fix them up and colour them sometime soon. They're going to be a series of Colossus characters i'll do for illustration.

Yep, I have a Wacom Tablet which I LOVE. Recently the pen died on me and I had to get a new one, so did all my art with a mouse for a few months. That sucked. With a mouse you can achieve the same results, it just takes longer.

Cool, how long ago did you get it/how much/where from??

I'm pretty keen to get one, but I don't want to buy some shitty one that craps out on me quickly and has a small surface area...
